It incorporates a 3/4 IN bypass with a gallons per minute meter to detect ground leaks and unauthorized illegal taps, and to aid in reducing annual water expenses. It consists of a fused epoxy coated cast iron body and outside stem and yoke shutoffs. Its modular check design facilitate simple and easy installation and maintenance. The coating on this backflow assembly uses ArmorTek(R), a patented 3-part advanced epoxy coating system designed to limit both microbial induced (MIC) and exposed metal substrate corrosion.
