This 2 1/2 to 10 IN Badger bypass option meter prevents the backflow of pollutants that are objectionable but not toxic, from entering into the potable water supply. This cubic feet per minute meter is used during times of minimal water flow, the valve clapper remains closed so that the water flows through the bypass meter. It is used primarily on fire sprinkler lines or when it is required to detect leakage and when it is necessary to monitor unauthorized use of water.
